57th Annual Arts & Craft Festival in Fairhope,Al. March 20th,21st,& 22nd,2009

I found out just recently that I was juried into the FAIRHOPE ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL. It’s a fantastic festival that is highly ranked among the best. I’ll be quite excited to get back to work after this weekend’s Palmer Park Art Market.
Over 200 exhibitors from throughout the nation will bring their best works to show and sell at this prestigious juried show. Live entertainment will be going on throughout the three-day event and unique cuisine will be served up in the food court. It all takes place on the streets of beautiful downtown Fairhope, Alabama. Last year the event attracted more than 250,000 visitors to the area. The festival chosen as one of the top 10 events in the southeast for March by the Alabama Bureau of Tourism and it is voted as #14 out of 100 Best Predominantly Classic & Contemporary Craft Shows in the nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine in 2007.

I traveled to Alabama from Indiana and was one of the “lucky ones” who attended the festival in Fairhope! Unfortunately, due to limited cargo space, I passed up on a watercolor print…maybe 16×20 or 20×24 of the sailboat depicting in the most bold and brillant colors a group of people out on the sailboat… Please if anyone knows of the print I am referring to…email me… In the picture, the individual characteristics eg smiles, glasses, hair blowing was evident… it had a lot of “motion” and would love to have it… price point was great too! Thanks…. sign me smilincricket! Hope to see you in 2010…. Oh if you do not..could you please post parking sites…lolol…first come first served..I know!
